AQUATICS
From lap and recreational swimming to swim lessons, aquatic fitness classes and our Stingrays Swim Team, SPRFC offers plenty of ways to get in the water. Explore all the options and find what works for you.
Pool Hours
Monday - Friday: 5:00am - 8:30pm
Saturday - Sunday: 7:00am - 5:30pm
We provide a safe environment for you to reach your fitness goals. We offer weekly water aqua fitness classes in the morning. Members are welcome to use our lanes for laps, your personal workout, or recreational swimming during non-program hours.
- All Pool Events are subject to change.
- Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Non-toilet trained children are required to wear a swim diaper in the pool
- In the event of a thunderstorm, the pool/spa will close and re-open 30 minutes after the last lightning strike/thunder.
Enjoy a fun, full-body workout with Aqua Fitness classes at Severna Park Racquet & Fitness Club. Our low-impact water exercise classes combine cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, balance, and flexibility using the natural resistance of the water and aquatic equipment such as dumbbells, noodles, and flotation belts.
Each class is led by certified instructors, can be modified for all fitness levels, and is ideal for beginners, active adults, and anyone looking for a joint-friendly workout in a supportive environment.
Aqua Fit
We'll move and groove while increasing our mobility and strengthening our bodies.
Aqua Aerobics
Focus on aerobic endurance, resistance training while using dumb bells and/or noodles.
Aqua Circuit *NEW*
Mix of exercises ranging from cardio sets to strength and conditioning and wrap up with stretching.
Aqua Mobility and Motion
Joint safe class that offers movements that support flexibility, strength, balance and overall fitness at a comfortable pace. Exercises can be modified to meet different fitness and mobility levels.
Aqua Zumba
Low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise. Latin and international music for dance exercise in a water-based workout. All fitness levels welcome. See schedule for Pop Ups.
Water Walking *NEW*
This low-impact, high-resistance pool workout uses water to build cardio and strength.
The Stingrays Swim Team is a competitive youth swimming program for ages 6–18, designed to develop swimmers from the novice level through advanced competition. Swimmers build their skills as they progress through Developmental, Junior and Senior levels, with opportunities to compete locally, regionally and nationally.
Led by experienced ASCA Level III and IV coaches, the Stingrays focus on strong swimming fundamentals, personal responsibility, teamwork and long-term development.
